Shelter-in-Place Prerequisite Training – Putnam County

CMS requires that all facilities participate in a tabletop exercise and a community based exercise each year. Here’s an opportunity to keep your facility in compliance by participating in an exercise program to enhance shelter-in-place capabilities of healthcare facilities and community organizations for a hazardous materials incident. This is being presented by the Northeast Florida Healthcare Coalition (HCC) and Northeast Florida Local Emergency Planning Committee for Hazardous Materials (LEPC).

There are several required steps to take before your facility can participate & receive a Letter of Participation for meeting CMS training and testing requirements.

Step 1: Attend an LEPC sponsored Shelter-in-Place Training in January (2-hours)
